Partners

Yuri Kushnir, managing partner, received an LL.M. Degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Before joining the firm Mr. Kushnir held an associate position with Kyiv office of an international law firm, and acted as a consultant to a member of Ukrainian Parliament. He was lecturing banking law and insurance law in Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Mr. Kushnir specializes in investments, IT, banking & finance, tax consulting and tax planning, and cross-border commercial transactions.

Maryan Kushnir, partner, received an LL.M. Degree from the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. His previous experience includes work for the Parliament of Ukraine as a legislative consultant, as well as assistant to Canadian Member of Parliament. Mr. Kushnir specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, antimonopoly law, securities, labor law, supervises company incorporation and winding-up service lines.

Oleg Yakymyak, senior partner, received an LL.M. Degree from the Lviv National University School of Law. His experience includes positions as Head of Legal Department at a major manufacturing company, leading Legal Department of one of the largest companies providing construction materials in Ukraine, as well as private legal practice. Mr. Yakymyak specializes in real estate transactions, land use regulations, tax consulting and tax planning, Intellectual Property law, tax consulting and tax planning, and litigation.
